LEAD Graduate Honored by Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels

Muncie, IN, January 12, 2010 - Jaime Faulkner, a business services officer at Mutual Bank and graduate of LEAD-ECI's Leadership Development Program (LEAD), recently received the Governor's Award for Tomorrow's Leaders from Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels and the Indiana Humanities Council.

The Governor's Award for Tomorrow's Leaders honors Indiana residents ages 19-29 who strive and reach excellence as entrepreneurial leaders, volunteers, and scholars.  Faulkner helped launch the Young ATHENA Award to recognize women who have positively influenced other women in Muncie, is a board member and chairman-elect of Delaware County Big Brothers/Big Sisters, is active in the United Way, and serves as an Ambassador for the Muncie-Delaware County Chamber of Commerce.

Jaime is an excellent example of the kind of individual that LEAD-ECI's programming seeks to equip and inspire with the skills necessary to make a positive difference in their workplace and the community.  The entire LEAD-ECI organization and alumni are extremely proud of Jaime for this distinguished and most deserved award.


LEAD-ECI is free-standing leadership institute where people of all ages, backgrounds and interests can access the tools necessary to develop and/or enhance leadership skills. The organization grew out of an identified need to grow, nurture and sustain leadership for the benefit of East Central Indiana. LEAD-ECI is headquartered at the Innovation Connector facility in Muncie, Indiana.
